We all feel for the people involved in the recent aircraft accident in Indonesia. One question though – why does the Black Box have to be analysed in Australia? Indonesia is a country of 100 million or people – why do they not want to do it?

Well done Virgin Money – what a refreshingly professional expereince I had today. In just a few minutes my call had been answered and queries dealt with.
All this was done with a great attitude and in a manner that did not seem predetermined to make me feel like a fool. I actually felt good about the outcome despite that fact that I did not win on my query as it was explained and double checked.
Hope I am not tempting fate…

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone to Telstra. I have been trying to change my phone service to Telstra to take advantage of the goodies offered by the endless number of Telstra telesales people. After hours on the phone – they still couldn’t get their act together.
Call me studpid but I simply do not understand how accepting business from a new customer could be so hard.

Woman dials 000 over stolen pot plants

Police in *** were taken by surprise by an unusual phone call earlier today.
A woman called to report the theft of three marijuana plants which she had been growing in buckets outside her house. He says she was very upset about it, and told the operator she is a good person and sick of low-lifes stealing her things.
Police will be paying the woman a visit to have a bit of a chat, but it is unlikely charges will be laid.
